One of the founding partners of WV Engineering Associates, Wayne has been in the electrical construction industry since 1979.
Working first in the electrical contracting industry, serving as apprentice electrician, journeymen electrician, service manager, and construction project manager for numerous projects in the central New England area.
Wayne then put his electrical engineering degree to work with a Southwestern New Hampshire electrical/mechanical engineering company. After a short time with a Southern Vermont multi-disciplined engineering firm, Wayne formed WV Engineering in Keene, New Hampshire with Mark Vincello in January of 1991.
With background in construction and the hands on experience as a technician and installer, Wayne brings practical field experience to each of his electrical designs. Special interests over the years have included fire alarm systems, phone and telecommunication systems, Category 6 - data wiring systems, and innovative/energy saving lighting applications.
Specialty project types for which Wayne has completed design and served as project manager for WV Engineering include hospital emergency room and OR suite projects, police station, fire station, and library facilities.

Mark Vincello, PE, is one of the two founding partners of WV Engineering Associates. Mark’s experience in the construction industry dates to 1974, when he worked as a carpenter on a number of large building projects in downtown Boston. In addition to a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mark also holds a degree in Architecture from Syracuse University. Combined with Mark’s hands on building experience, this formal education in building design and philosophy enhances the practical designs produced by the company that achieve requirements, and can be installed without unnecessary complications. After completing college, Mark joined one of the largest mechanical engineering firms in the Northeast, where he ultimately became a Vice President. During these years, Mark completed numerous complex projects for a broad range of industrial clients including Eastman Kodak, IBM, and Xerox, as well as several university and hospital projects. He was also the Project Manager for a survey, requiring extensive HVAC modeling, of over 6,000 state and municipal buildings to quantify the energy savings potential in all publicly owned facilities in New York, through what was to become the federally funded Institutional Conservation Program.
Mark is affiliated with the American Institute of Architects, American Society of Heating, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers, and registered in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Vermont. He also holds a nationally recognized license for Mechanical Engineering from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering & Surveying.
Mark currently teaches the AE 450 Senior Project course in Architectural Engineering at Vermont Technical College in Randolph, VT. This course combines previous classes in architectural and building system design to create a commercial project of appropriate scope and complexity. The student prepares and presents designs, details, and working drawings. The first third of the semester focuses on schematic designs of a selected commercial building in structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines. The remainder of the course allows for a focus on a specific discipline of the student's choice.
